Hi!

Welcome to the Keyman's Corner. My name Is Tim Westemeyer, otherwise know as Keyman. If you want to know how I got that nickname, you will have to ask a tuba player named - Tony K.

My dearest friend, and wife Kathy, and I enjoy dancing to polka and waltz music. We now reside in the northeast part of Iowa, but that does not limit our dancing area. We travel all over Iowa and to our bordering states to attend dances and polka festivals.

As we do this, I will write blogs and take pictures of the event to be posted here on Keyman's Corner. To see these pictures, all you need to do is go to the Festival Pictures link above.

My main goal along with Kathy's help is to promote polka music and dance the best way we know how. We will patronize organizations that provide polka music and dance. We will help in any way to promote the dance or festival. I will continue with this web page to offer the outcome of our success in the promotion of polka music. Viewers can help by offering suggestions on how I can improve this site to better our objective.

This website is not affiliated with any other group. It is of my design and maintained by Kathy and myself. Polkarrific is my main page and name of this website. Keyman's Corner is just a link from that page. As we grow this website you will begin to see many stories and enjoy reading them.
